Coaching Philosophy

My coaching philosophy centers on understanding young athletes from the inside out, helping them harness mental tools that create success both in sports and in life. True peak performance comes when we balance competitive excellence with genuine enjoyment of the game and desire to achieve fulfilment both on and off the field.

My Story: From Struggle to Success

I know exactly what young athletes are going through. Growing up, I battled performance anxiety, fear of failure, and the immense pressure to succeed. At times, sports felt more like a burden than a passion.

Everything changed when I started understanding the mental aspects of performance. Through learning and applying powerful mental techniques, I transformed my mindset and overcame internal barriers. This mental transformation helped me rise above my self-limiting beliefs and performance anxiety, ultimately leading me to become a 5-star long snapper recruited by top college programs nationwide.

But my journey wasn’t without its challenges. During my senior year—at the height of my recruitment—I tore my ACL. In an instant, everything I had worked for seemed to slip away. The recruiting calls slowed, and the doubt tried to creep back in. However, the mental tools and resilience I had developed served me in ways I never expected. Instead of seeing my injury as an ending, I viewed it as an opportunity for growth. This mindset not only carried me through recovery but opened new doors—ultimately leading me to compete as a Division 1 rugby player at UCLA.

This journey taught me that our greatest challenges often become our greatest teachers. Through my experiences, I’ve refined these mental techniques that transformed not just my athletic performance, but my approach to adversity itself.

Why I Do What I Do

I’ve seen too many talented young athletes:

  • Lose their love for their sport
  • Crumble under pressure
  • Experience family conflict around athletics
  • Give up on their dreams

My mission is to provide the mental tools and strategies I wish I had when I was a young athlete. I want to help you not just succeed, but truly enjoy your athletic journey.
