Recruiting
Below are some useful tools to aid your journey throughout the recruitment process.
My Recruitment Video– This is my “highlight reel” that I sent out to coaches. You’ll notice that not only is it extremely unique, but it highlights all aspects of myself (multi-sport, academic achievements, etc). Recruiters go through thousands of highlight reels a day, if you want to stand out from the rest yours needs to be captivating.

Copy of My Email and DM Template To Coaches– Throughout the recruiting process I have probably emailed and dmed over at least 200 coaches. These templates highlight not only my skills, but additionally my interest in the program and school itself. A couple important tips to note: I personally address each email to the specific coach I am sending it to, I also include the name of the school, sometimes the team name at the end, and a little fact that shows I have done some research into the program. (For me, anytime I would email a program that was one of the top psychology schools in the country I would mention that, as psych was my preferred major). Also at the end of every email I made sure to include any information a coach would need about me (grades, links to social media profiles and highlight films, contact information for me and my coaches, etc). If a coach doesn’t have all the information they need to pass your file along right then and there, it will most likely get lost in the masses of thousands of other emails they get every day.
